St Mary’s Golf Course
Within easy walking distance from Beachfield House; the Golf Course has spectacular views where you can play 9 or 18 holes. Check out their website here.
There are a handful of licenced restaurants within 10 minutes walk from Beachfield House, including Juliet’s Garden Restaurant and Speros. If you walk just a little further you will find Hugh Town with a variety of public houses, cafe’s and restaurants.

Beachfield House can be found on the South Western side of St Mary’s, a stones throw from Thomas’ Porth (known locally as Shark’s Pit). With views across the harbour, of Star Castle and a number of the Off Islands; it is also the perfect spot to watch the spectacular sunsets which take place throughout the year.
If guests fancy a quiet day they are welcome to make use of the gardens and lounge at Beachfield; alternatively they may wish to explore St Mary’s: taking in its many walks and activities. There is something for everyone from a museum to water sports and guided tours, trips in a classic car to horse-riding.
For those that want to go further afield, have an Off-Island adventure and experience the different aspects of the inhabited and uninhabited islands, the quay is within easy walking distance and pleasure boats provide services to the other islands as well as circular tours.
